Hello Dinwiddie High community

As we approach the summer break, I want to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication throughout this school year. Thank each of you for your unwavering dedication, care, and commitment to our students, families, and one another.

Next Friday marks the last day for our seniors—a milestone filled with pride and emotion. Your guidance has helped shape their journey, and your influence will carry forward as they take their next steps in life. Whether they’re enrolling in college, entering the workforce, enlisting in the military, or exploring new opportunities, your role in their success cannot be overstated.

I hope you all have a restful and enjoyable break. Take this time to relax, recharge, and make some wonderful memories. Whether it's spending time with family, pursuing hobbies, or simply enjoying the sunshine, I hope you have a summer filled with joy.

I look forward to seeing our returning students, teachers, and staff refreshed and ready to tackle the new school year in August. Have a fantastic summer!

Memorial Day

All school division schools and offices will be closed next Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.

Observed on the last Monday of May, Memorial Day is a solemn time to honor those service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the nation’s military. Let us pause to remember them ensuring their legacy is never forgotten.

This day brings us together to express gratitude for the bravery, dedication, and patriotism of the heroes we have lost. As we honor the fallen, this day also serves as a reminder of the ongoing commitment to support all our military families.
